Google Page Rank (PR) update

The next update for Google Page Rank (PR) is close and as usual speculations are wild in Webmaster forums around the web. Common topics are when the PR update will take place, and if the PR will rise or fall.

During the previous update in April lots of websites experienced a PR drop. Naturally many of the Webmasters took link building and marketing steps to regain their PR. Now Webmasters around the world are anxiously awaiting the results of their efforts.

Let me assure you that we feel the same way here at SEO Facility. The web directory was launched in April and since then we have worked hard with our marketing and link building strategies. Hopefully this will pay off, but at least we can comfort ourselves with that the SEO Facility PR can’t drop any further.

So what should one do in the mean while?.. There are places you can visit to stay updated. For instance visit forums to read or participate in discussions like the friendly Google forum at V7n and Digital Point. If none of the above helps I suggest you switch off the computer and have a good night sleep, take a vacation, go mountaineering, spend time with friends and family. The Google PR update takes place when Google decides to, whether you sit in front of your computer or not.
